I had the good fortune to have a chat about Operation Colossus with Al Murray and James Holland for their excellent podcast ‘We Have Ways of Making You Talk’.
It actually was the second attempt, as the first was derailed by unexpected Italian internet villainy!
Anyway, we got there in the end, and I really enjoyed it, as both obviously are extremely knowledgeable and also very enthuisiastic about the topic(s). Mister Holland, as I’m sure you know, is an esteemed historian and author of superb books – both high quality Second World War non-fiction and the very cool Jack Tanner fiction series – and Al, as well as being an historian, is a comedian, part owner of the British Drum Company and – most importantly – a drummer
